Kids School Supplies

Have a pencil case full of holes?  Has your ruler been chewed by the dog?  Kids can take the environmental high road by refusing to buy new school supplies either just to have new shiny stuff (it won't be shiny for long!) or to have the latest brand name to hit the shelves.  Using things up is the wave of the future-and durable is how things will have to be right from the start!  So if your old pencil case is full of holes, then maybe a more durable one is in your future.  If, however, it just has a bunch of marker stains on it, then it will probably proudly last you at least another year.

In these pages you will find where to buy durable, and often post-consumer recycled school supplies.  They won't have pictures of the latest pop star on them, but they will make a strong statement about your commitment to this planet, and of course, that pop star is not going to provide you with food and clean water-ever!  But before you buy even these great and funky products-remember to use up your existing stuff first!
