Christmas lights

Many people are now moving to LED lights for the holidays, as they save energy and therefore money. They also will help reduce waste over the long run, as they generally are guaranteed to outlast regular bulbs and therefore can be used for many years.

However, you may be disposing of your old Christmas lights either because they are burnt out or to start saving energy. Strings of Christmas lights may be disposed of in your regular garbage. If glass bulbs are broken, please follow the guidelines listed under Glass.
